Room Preparation: Move furniture, remove outlet/switch covers and put drop clothes in place. Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prime surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. Painting: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Detail Work: Pay attention to detail to ensure clean lines and even coverage. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials. Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of paint and materials. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to complete projects on time. Tool Maintenance: Ensure all painting tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology in UMW
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Mary Washington invites applications for one or more Visiting Assistant Professor positions to begin August 15, 2025, with a possibility of renewal. UMW is a liberal arts and sciences university dedicated to effective teaching and undergraduate research in an inclusive environment that embraces diverse talents and backgrounds. The department seeks broadly-trained biologists to teach courses in introductory biology and two or more upper-level courses to fill projected needs: human or chordate anatomy, cellular biology, exercise physiology, immunology, human physiology, or biostatistics. Candidates may also have opportunities to develop additional upper-level courses in their discipline. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduates.
