The Office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire a Senior Admissions Recruiter to assist in recruiting and admissions functions, under the direction of the Associate Director, Visitor Experience. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of large and small scale student recruitment events which are held on and off campus. This position is critical in implementing strategic initiatives from Admissions leadership. Work involves, but is not limited to; recruitment event planning for prospective first-time college students, transfer students, and graduate students. Work also involves relationship management with campus partners, the hiring, training, and managing of student employees. There is also the possibility of local travel and occasional overnight travel, as required by events. The ability to work select nights and weekends for events is required.

The Senior Administrative Specialist reports to the Associate Dean and supports the administrative operations of the UNT Honors College. Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative duties related to admissions, academics, and student life for the college. This position will work with the Honors College staff and faculty in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, organizational proficiency, and attention to detail. This position will manage general communication requests to the college, serving as a knowledgeable resource to answer general questions, while directing other inquiries to appropriate staff members for timely and accurate responses. This role provides outreach to students about a wide range of opportunities such as scholarships, events, academic programs, and extracurricular activities. The Senior Administrative Specialist will also serve as a backup for the front reception desk of the Honors College/TAMS Deans Office. When needed in this role, this position will greet visitors, students, and faculty with a warm and professional demeanor. They will address visitor questions and efficiently direct them to the appropriate contacts.
