Department Summary

The Office of Recruitment provides leadership and administrative oversight for recruitment and admissions processes, including online interactions, screening files, implementing policies, and maintaining an exceptional prospective student experience.

Position Overview

The Department of Admissions and Recruitment is seeking to hire a Remote Recruitment/Admissions Associate to join our team. The Recruitment Associate is an integral contributor to recruitment and admissions processes, including online interactions, screening files, implementing policies, and maintaining an exceptional prospective student experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Familiarity with college/university admissions, including application review, eligibility requirements, and enrollment procedures.
* Understanding of best practices for attracting and engaging prospective students, including outreach and marketing techniques.
* Knowledge of using databases, CRM systems (like Salesforce, Slate, etc.), and applicant tracking systems to manage candidate data.
* Awareness of higher education trends, demographic shifts, and emerging recruitment strategies.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with prospective students, families, and internal teams.
* Ability to provide excellent service, answer inquiries, and support applicants through the admissions process.
* Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities, especially during peak recruitment seasons.
* Competency in using office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite) and specialized recruitment/admissions tools.
* Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while handling a variety of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working remotely.
• Prior experience in higher education recruitment or admissions.
• Familiarity with managing and organizing virtual events or programs.
• Proficiency in virtual tools such as Teams, Calendly, Salesforce, or EIS.
• Strong technology skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Job Duties:

  • Supporting virtual programs and assisting students with the application process, and utilizing online scheduling tools such as Calendly to ensure appointment availability.
  • Developing relationships with students and advisors across virtual platforms and maintaining records of interactions and producing timely reports.
  • Managing email inquiries and assisting with file reviews.
  • Contributing to the development and success of our virtual recruitment initiatives. 
  • Providing exceptional virtual customer service to prospective students.
  • Hosting daily online appointments and virtual information sessions.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evenings and weekends as required.
