      The Director of Development works in consultation and in close coordination with Assistant Dean of Development to design and implement a comprehensive development program to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors for major gifts in support of college priorities. The Director works in a collegial and supportive manner with colleagues and donors to maximize giving to the university and coordinates with UNT's annual giving, corporate and foundation relations and planned giving units. The Director collaborates with UNT's advancement services, donor relations and communications teams to implement effective recognition and messaging. The position reports to the Assistant Dean of Development and works collaboratively with the Assistant VP for Development, Dean, Faculty and University volunteers.

    • Assistant Professor of English (Tenure Track) in Dallas

      UNT Dallas is looking to hire a faculty member to fill its tenure-track Assistant Professor of English position. The faculty member should bring expertise in digital rhetoric and artificial intelligence to the classroom and department. Expectations for tenure-track faculty at UNT Dallas include excellent teaching (4-4 course load), research, and service. Teaching at UNT Dallas is expected to be engaging and involve high impact practices and experiential learning while preparing students for a career in the field. Faculty are also expected to participate in such service activities as curriculum development, student recruiting, program assessment, and committee leadership. The faculty member should also be involved with organizations that serve and impact the community and build bridges between the academic and social spheres. The ideal candidate will be committed to advancing UNT Dallas’s Classroom to Career initiative—an innovative effort that bridges academic achievement and career readiness. This includes strengthening industry partnerships, embedding experiential learning (such as internships, research, and service learning) into the curriculum, integrating career and character competencies, and fostering AI fluency and essential power skills like communication, adaptability, teamwork, and leadership. The candidate should also support the development of new academic programs aligned with workforce needs and pathways to family-sustaining careers.

    • Adjunct Faculty - College of Law in Downtown Dallas

      NATURE OF POSITION AND APPOINTMENT The appointments will be as Adjunct Faculty to teach one course each in the Spring 2026 semester. EXPECTATIONS Adjunct faculty members are a critical part of the College of Law’s learning community, and they will be involved in curricular and co-curricular activities and programs relating to student learning and professional formation throughout law school. Because the educational program will strive for excellence in developing practice-related competencies, adjunct faculty members will be expected to follow the instructional and curricular practices of the College of Law, including use of the Canvas Learning Management System, learning outcomes, multiple assessments, and research and writing modules within a course, as appropriate, with support from other faculty as well as research librarians. The College of Law will support adjunct faculty in these areas by providing training, course design expertise, and learning management system support.
