The Career Center Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Career Center Engineering Career Coach to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Lead efforts toward planning and implementing career development and job search programs and services to students, by working with students, faculty and staff in an assigned department. This includes, but is not limited to, individual advising and group workshops. Partner with the academic advisors counselors in the college to manage the internship program for their assigned department, ensuring that available internships meet all the departmental requirements for credit and the students that apply are eligible for the internship. Cultivate and manage relationships with current and new employers recruiting students from assigned department, in partnership with the assigned department, the staff and the main Career Center. Lead job market research efforts for their assigned area, in order to provide current and relevant data to faculty and students. Work directly with student organizations in making connections to corporate speakers/mentors. Manage the assessment of career programs and services and deliver reports to their supervisor. Provide marketing of career services to the students and faculty in the assigned department.

The Director of Development works in consultation and in close coordination with Assistant Dean of Development to design and implement a comprehensive development program to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors for major gifts in support of college priorities. The Director works in a collegial and supportive manner with colleagues and donors to maximize giving to the university and coordinates with UNT's annual giving, corporate and foundation relations and planned giving units. The Director collaborates with UNT's advancement services, donor relations and communications teams to implement effective recognition and messaging. NATURE OF POSITION AND APPOINTMENT The appointments will be as Adjunct Faculty to teach one course each in the Spring 2026 semester. EXPECTATIONS Adjunct faculty members are a critical part of the College of Law’s learning community, and they will be involved in curricular and co-curricular activities and programs relating to student learning and professional formation throughout law school. Because the educational program will strive for excellence in developing practice-related competencies, adjunct faculty members will be expected to follow the instructional and curricular practices of the College of Law, including use of the Canvas Learning Management System, learning outcomes, multiple assessments, and research and writing modules within a course, as appropriate, with support from other faculty as well as research librarians.
