Custodial Foreperson in Fort Worth
The Facilities Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Custodial Foreperson to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Manage, train, and develop all Senior Custodians. Oversee daily sign in and nightly shift assignments. Distribute keys and maintain logs. Train and maintain use of PCard through the Concur Management System. Assist Manager with the development and maintenance of individual work schedules according to APPA standards. Supervise Senior Floor Technician through the floor care program. Distribute work order assignments. Ensure staff compliance with UNTHSC policies and regulations. Oversee building inspections and audit forms. Oversee distribution of custodial supplies. Generate and distribute department documents. Create special events, detailing and seasonal cleaning plans. Conduct weekly team meetings with assistants and team leaders. Assist manager with inventory, receiving, organizing, maintaining and distributing all custodial supplies and equipment. Assist manager with hiring and firing process of night shift employees. Transport self and/or others in state vehicle during performance of duties. Contribute to a safe environment by participating in all drills and training and being prepared to take action should a health or safety emergency occur. Work well with others in a professional, respectful manner and promote teamwork. Except when notified of leaving town, must be oncall and be able to be contacted in case of emergency by home phone, and/or cell phone. And other duties as assigned by the Manager, Custodial Services.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the System College of Pharmacy (SCP) of UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking to hire a dynamic, innovative tenure-track or tenured Assistant-Associate-Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences with a background in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics. The successful applicant will report to the Chair of the Department and will contribute to the development of the educational, research, and service programs of the College of Pharmacy. The successful applicant will provide expertise in teaching the foundational science aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum in areas such as toxicology, pharmacology, and drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics. Candidates with background or expertise in immunology are of particular interest. The successful applicant will also conduct extramurally funded research and provide instruction and training to students and trainees through teaching in graduate educational programs and mentoring in research. The College of Science Advising Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Office Support Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the front desk operations for the College of Science Advising Center, including greeting visitors with a warm welcome, answering incoming calls and emails, maintaining a physical presence at the front desk, and responding to routine inquiries independently as well as routing more complex matters to the appropriate staff. The position supervises student assistants in the College of Science Advising Center, including hiring, training, payroll approvals, and day-to-day management. Additionally, this role supports the College of Science Advising Center and Office of Health Professions with maintaining physical and electronic files, scheduling appointments and meetings, updating spreadsheets and program rosters, assisting with data collection, providing project assistance, routine purchasing (e.g., office supply orders, food orders, promotional item orders, and printing orders) as well as event support, including room reservations, preparation of materials, ordering and picking up event food/beverages, setup and breakdown for events, and other routine logistics. The position also participates in recommending improvements as needed, and completes other duties, as assigned.
