The Senior Director of Development will work in consultation and in close coordination with the Executive Director of Development and the Ryan College of Business Dean to design and implement a comprehensive development program to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors for major gifts in support of college priorities. The Sr. Director works in a collegial and supportive manner with colleagues and donors to maximize giving to the university and coordinates with UNT’s annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, and planned giving units. The Sr. Director collaborates with UNT’s advancement services, donor relations, and communications teams to implement effective recognition and messaging. The Sr. Director proactively supports the mission of the Division of University Advancement and is perceived to be an ambassador for the Division of University Advancement and the University as a whole.

This role is responsible for overseeing Design Works, the UNT University Union's retail design and print shop. This position oversees daily shop operations, ensures that all produced materials meet established quality standards, and promotes the shop’s services to customers. This position must exercise fiscal responsibility and work to assist the Associate Director in developing budgets for Design Works. This position will also assist in the coordination of marketing priorities (including advertising and promotional materials) for the Union and some areas of operation.

Responsible for inventory, equipment, scheduling, training, and daily operations. Inspects University buildings for cleanliness, safety, and security. Work is performed in accordance with established policies, industry standards and procedures, and specific work assignments. Provides job specifics to train employees regarding procedures, techniques, products, and equipment. Inspects University buildings for cleanliness, safety, and security. Inspects cleaning equipment and arranges for maintenance and repairs. Assists with scheduling for cleaning and for the opening and closing of assigned buildings as needed; monitors inventory and assures that adequate equipment and supplies are on hand. Travels between work sites by use of University vehicle for necessary calls. Serves as a Campus Security Authority for Clery and a Responsible Employee under Title IX.
