Assistant Director of Forensic Education Programs in Fort Worth
The Assistant Director, Forensic Education Programs is responsible for organizing, developing, implementing, facilitating, administrating and evaluating CHI’s forensic training and educational programs for forensic scientists, law enforcement and medicolegal stakeholders. Among these will be CHI’s Apprenticeship program, created to supplement training for accredited forensic DNA laboratories throughout Texas. This position will be responsible for the development of training materials, the oversight of the program’s apprenticeships to ensure timely completion of training modules, and collaboration with other CHI staff and subject matter experts as needed to ensure delivery of a comprehensive training program.

The Senior Director of Development will work in consultation and in close coordination with the Executive Director of Development and the Ryan College of Business Dean to design and implement a comprehensive development program to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors for major gifts in support of college priorities. The Sr. Director works in a collegial and supportive manner with colleagues and donors to maximize giving to the university and coordinates with UNT’s annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, and planned giving units. The Sr. Director collaborates with UNT’s advancement services, donor relations, and communications teams to implement effective recognition and messaging. The Sr. Director proactively supports the mission of the Division of University Advancement and is perceived to be an ambassador for the Division of University Advancement and the University as a whole.

This position is responsible for oversight of a midsized team of employees, engaged in university facility services, performed in multiple locations. Responsible for inventory, equipment, scheduling, training, and daily operations. Oversees, and assists, with the supervision of daily operations of custodial personnel as assigned, and during the absence of the supervisor or manager. Inspects University buildings for cleanliness, safety, and security. Work is performed in accordance with established policies, industry standards and procedures, and specific work assignments. Supervises, reviews, and counsels assigned staff. Oversees daily operations of custodial personnel as assigned and during the absence of the Manager. Provides job specifics to train employees regarding procedures, techniques, products, and equipment. Inspects University buildings for cleanliness, safety, and security. Inspects cleaning equipment and arranges for maintenance and repairs. Assists with scheduling for cleaning and for the opening and closing of assigned buildings as needed; monitors inventory and assures that adequate equipment and supplies are on hand. Travels between work sites by use of University vehicle for necessary calls. Serves as a Campus Security Authority for Clery and a Responsible Employee under Title IX.

This position oversees daily shop operations, ensures that all produced materials meet established quality standards, and promotes the shop’s services to customers. This position must exercise fiscal responsibility and work to assist the Associate Director in developing budgets for Design Works. This position will also assist in the coordination of marketing priorities (including advertising and promotional materials) for the Union and some areas of operation.
