The FAST research group in the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering is seeking applications from interested candidates to join as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In general, postdoctoral research associate will conduct CFD and system level modeling of advanced nuclear and fusion energy systems and support experimental testing in scaled surrogate fluids facilities for both thermal performance and detailed velocimetry (flow visualization) data.

This position is a senior-level faculty position who will play a key role in advancing the research mission and will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Massey Cancer Center so as to harness the considerable intellectual talent and scientific resources of VCU and focus them on solving the nation’s cancer problem.
