VCUarts Emerging Artist Fellowship in Craft/Material Studies - 2026-2027 academic year in VCU Main Campus
VCUarts Department of Craft/Material Studies is hiring for an Emerging Artist Fellowship in Craft/Material Studies. This is a one academic year 2026-2027 residency for recent MFA graduates. Fellows are provided the opportunity to concentrate on their work, build community, gain valuable teaching experience, and participate in a vital, interdisciplinary, socially progressive community of artists at VCU. A grant awarded by the Charitable Windgate Foundation generously supports the VCUarts Emerging Artist Fellowship in Craft/Material Studies. The fellow will teach two classes per semester (8 credits per semester), present a public talk or participate in a panel discussion, and could serve as a guest critic or guest speaker in a class. An additional potential opportunity may exist for a solo exhibition at VCUarts.
