Your opportunity
The primary purpose of the Senior Learning & Development Advisor role is to develop and implement Training and Development programs across CPB Contractors. The initiatives are to support our business in building capability, fostering talent, and leaving a legacy in the communities we work in.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Creating programs and initiatives that add value to our business, in particular improving the capability and culture to help drive the performance of project delivery and work winning
- Consult with, coach and influence leaders, Regions HR and Project Managers to work with a group approach
- Foster a positive collaborative network with training teams to support the strategic agenda
- Oversee the training coordinator activities in managing the graduate program and other training activities
- Lead the Region and Project Teams as a community of practice
- Work collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders across HR and the divisions to ensure buy-in to strategic intent of initiatives and aligned communication
- Support work winning strategies by building and fostering partnerships with external training providers
- Monitor and provide regular reports and data analysis of L&D training activity
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Degree in Human Resources, organizational behaviour, psychology, adult education/training or other relevant degree (required)
- Experience in fast paced multi-site blue- and white-collar environments
- Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing a variety of training, development and OD initiatives, graduate programs, culture and change programs
- Strong influencing skills – ability to influence and work with others to implement programs and embed change
- Proven internal and external stakeholder management
- Practical leadership and coaching experience
