Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall logistics operations for the project site, including material procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control
• Responsible for construction and maintenance of amenities at the project site; setting up of water and power supply
• Establish and oversee adherence to traffic and security guidelines
• Oversee receipt and inventory management of material/equipment
• Manage the resource allocation and monitoring of equipment, labour, etc.
• Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favourable terms with logistics service providers and suppliers
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory
• Prepare logistics-related reports and presentations for management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong project management and team leadership abilities
• Proficient in using logistics management software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
