What you’ll do
Reporting to the Lead – Training & Compliance, you will play a key role in supporting training delivery, ensuring compliance standards are met, and coordinating regional program activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate and schedule regional training programs, ensuring efficient delivery and completion
- Support compliance reporting and maintain accurate training records
- Assist with mobilisation of new work through training and compliance coordination
- Collaborate with site training teams, workforce and external training providers
- Maintain and update reporting tools (including SharePoint and training systems)
- Support governance activities, including reviews of Training Management Plans and TNAs
- Promote health, safety and compliance in alignment with the Thiess One HSE culture
- Contribute to continuous improvement in training processes and systems
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Training or Program Coordination role
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards)
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with digital training platforms and reporting systems
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of training compliance requirements and relevant legislation
- Strong problem-solving and time management capabilities
