Myer is looking for a Cash Management & Accounts Receivable Officer to ensure the accurate and timely bank and settlement reconciliations. This role provides support in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, particularly in relation to cash and tender receipts. In addition, he/she will be working closely with stakeholders including store operations, customer services on settled related information.

About the role:

  • Analyse, investigate, and reconciliation of daily settlements for stores and online in Australia and New Zealand and work with relevant internal & external stakeholders to identify and resolve any identified variance in a timely manner. 
  • Prepare invoicing and reporting to tender partners.
  • Attend to enquiries with stores and customer services on settlement related information including retrieval and chargeback.
  • Preparation of daily General Ledger reconciliations relating to banks, settlements & clearing
  • Actively participate in the identification and implementation of process and efficiency improvements.  
  • Processing of customer refunds. 
  • Assist Business and Finance team with settlement related information.
  • Monitor settlement related mailboxes and respond to store / customer services queries in a timely manner. 
  • Provision assistant internal and external audits.   
  • Ad hoc duties as required   

About you:

  • Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position 
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous use of NetSuite or a large Financial system 
  • Proactively been involved in business process improvements  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player
  • Accounting background and experience with Retail industry is advantageous
