Myer is looking for multiple Accounts Payable Officer’s to provide effective and efficient support across the Procure to Pay process. This role is responsible for processing financial documents, managing vendor interactions and resolving P2P-related queries with precision.
About the role:
- Processing all payables related documents including fixed deal & cosmetic rebates, expense & capital invoices, overseas & manual merchandise invoices.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders i.e. all suppliers and vendors, all stores, DC’s and store support office teams.
- Process all manual merchandise and expense claims.
- Action, escalate and resolve vendor and business queries.
- Administer the corporate credit card function ensuring all documents are maintained and policies are adhered to.
- Support the business with creation of purchase orders, variations, cancellations and goods receipting.
- Minimise the non-compliance to accounting policies & procedures through effective monitoring & education to relevant parties.
- Ensure that invoices are processed in line with the Delegation of Authority
- Preparation of weekly and monthly Accounts Payable payment files
- Streamlining of Accounts Payable processes as Apparel Brands integrates into the Myer way of working
- Other ad hoc duties as required
About you:
- Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous use of NetSuite or a large Financial system
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and skills
- Proactively been involved in business process improvements
- Ability to build positive working relationships
