Risk Assurance Analyst – Risk Assurance

The Risk Assurance Analyst role reports directly to the Head of Risk Assurance and you will be responsible for conducting Line 2 risk assurance activities to validate compliance with regulatory requirements, assess the effectiveness of the risk management framework, and ensure the robustness of TSEG’s control environment. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of risk management and governance across the organisation.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Lead assurance projects from start to finish, ensuring thorough execution and reporting.
  • Execute planned assurance reviews in accordance with the Assurance Methodology and committed review timeline.
  • Prepare concise assurance work papers to evidence assurance work performed and compliance or control attributes assessed.
  • Assist assurance managers in drafting review findings and assurance reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and best practice approaches to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and proactive risk mitigation.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an assurance, compliance, or risk management role in a casino/gaming environment, bank, corporation, or government agency.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with a good understanding of risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with analytical software and database record management systems is desirable.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong ability to assess, interpret, and evaluate risk management frameworks. You thrive in a structured environment where compliance and regulatory adherence are top priorities. With your ability to work independently and collaboratively, you ensure that risk assurance activities are executed effectively and efficiently. You have experience leading assurance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.

Your role will be pivotal in strengthening The Star’s risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
