About the role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer located at Wantirna Residential Aged Care, you will manage the maintenance requests for the site and liaise with staff, residents and contractors and suppliers. This role is full time and reports to the Facilities Coordinator.
About you
You will be an experienced Maintenance Officer, have outstanding customer service and communication to deal with a variety of stakeholders. You will be super organised and follow up on requests to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
Skills required
- Background in building and facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security and lighting systems
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to prioritse conflicting demands.
- Experience in Aged Care – desirable
- Current unrestricted Victorian Drivers licence
