The overarching aim of this consultancy is to support the analysis and benchmarking for the SDGs related to children as part of the development of the report “Progress on Children’s Well-Being”, including the life-course index. The work is to be carried out using GitHub, our database, and in collaboration with the sectoral data managers/analysts in D&A. The consultant will work on country briefs/ factsheets based on the report on the benchmarking and, separately, on the life course. The consultant will enhance and automate the existing R-based workflow to generate standardized factsheets across multiple countries as well as the production of charts for the report. The consultant will be responsible for writing syntax, maintaining the GitHub repository, and supporting the publication process in collaboration with the PEG team. All code and documentation will be prepared to ensure long-term scalability and reproducibility of the process.
