The consultant will undertake a revision of UNICEF’s existing Rights & Results Programming (RRP) learning programme, which comprises 3 parts, to ensure its continued relevance and alignment with the UNICEF Strategic Plan 2026–2029, the revised Country Programme Planning (CPP) Guidance, and the organizational changes introduced through the Future Focus Initiative (FFI). The assignment will preserve the programme’s core approach, structure and learning value while updating its content, references, practical examples, exercises and facilitation materials to reflect the new strategic and operational context. The consultant will work closely with OSE to review, validate and finalize the revised learning package for delivery to UNICEF staff.

Le Burundi poursuit ses efforts de prévention et de contrôle des troubles dus à la carence en iode à travers le renforcement de l’iodation universelle du sel. Les données et documents programmatiques existants soulignent que le sel consommé dans le pays provient en grande partie de sources extérieures, notamment de pays voisins, et que l’existence possible de points d’entrée non officiels représente un défi pour le suivi réglementaire, la supervision et le contrôle qualité du sel iodé. Le Bureau Burundais de Normalisation et Contrôle de la Qualité assure le suivi de la conformité du sel importé, notamment aux points d’entrée officiels. Toutefois, les informations disponibles indiquent que les points d’entrée non officiels ne sont pas encore suffisamment documentés, ce qui limite la capacité des autorités à assurer une surveillance efficace et à prévenir l’entrée de sel non conforme sur le marché national.
