      The Communication & Partnerships Officer (NO-2) reports to the Deputy Representative and plays a pivotal role in advancing UNICEF São Tomé e Príncipe’s communication, advocacy, and partnership efforts. The officer is responsible for: • Supporting engagement with media and partners under the guidance of a supervisor. • Supporting in drive resource mobilization efforts through evidence-based advocacy and engagement with key stakeholders. • Supporting the implementation of communication strategies developed by senior staff or regional/HQ offices Supporting the implementation of communication strategies developed by senior staff or regional/HQ offices. • Ensuring strategic alignment with programmatic priorities, working closely with the Deputy Representative to integrate communication and advocacy strategies into UNICEF’s broader agenda. • Leveraging a multitasking approach to efficiently support cross-sectoral initiatives, ensuring agility, adaptability, and responsiveness in a dynamic operational environment. This role requires a versatile and proactive professional capable of support cross-sectoral initiatives, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that UNICEF’s communication and partnership efforts contribute to long-term sustainability and impact in São Tomé e Príncipe, working under close supervision with clearly defined tasks.

The proposed assignment aims to estimate the direct costs of VAC in Brazil, contributing to the broader analysis of the economic cost of VAC being conducted by UNICEF and IPEA to support evidence-based public policy formulation.

      Study on the Prevalence and Indirect Tangible Costs of Violence Against Children (VAC) Consultant, Brasilia (remote), Brazil, 7 months. at Brazil

      UNICEF and the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea) are partnering to produce robust and detailed evidence on the economic costs of VAC in Brazil. The proposed assignment aims to estimate the prevalence of VAC in Brazil and the loss of productivity over the life cycle of individuals who experienced violence during childhood and adolescence, as an indirect tangible cost, in order to subsidize the estimation of the economic cost of VAC in Brazil conducted by the UNICEF and the Ipea to support evidence-based policy formulation.
