Child Nutrition and Sustainable Diets Consultant, Belize City, Belize, 3 Months at Belize
UNICEF Belize is seeking a qualified National or International Consultant to support strategic efforts promoting healthy and sustainable diets among school-aged children. The consultancy will lead a multi-sectoral effort—engaging ministries, partners, and civil society—to map current child nutrition interventions, identify key influencers in the food landscape, and design a Theory of Change to drive impactful programming and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, Food Science, or a related field, and at least 15 years of experience in international development, with a strong record in sustainable diets, multi-stakeholder coordination, and strategic partnerships. Proven skills in strategy development, implementation planning, and resource mobilization are essential. This is a 3-month consultancy, based in Belize City with travel across the country, proposed to start 15 August 2025 and ending 30 November 2025.
