      In this 10-month position, July 15-May 15, Resident Directors (RDs) serve as ministers, professionals, mentors, educators, and scholar-practitioners. Their primary function is to build community within an assigned residential area, to support students, and to foster respect for the policies of the institution. This position contributes to and supports the University's mission and strategic plan by enhancing the learning experience and by fostering a safe, caring, respectful, and dynamic residential community. Resident Directors oversee 8-13 student leaders including Resident Advisors (RAs), Spiritual Life Advisors (SLAs), and Graduate Assistants (GAs); develop communities of 250-450 freshmen, sophomores, or upperclassmen/graduate students; and provide support to campus via an on-call RD rotation.

      The Counseling Center at Pepperdine University promotes mental health on the Pepperdine campus through direct intervention, outreach/prevention programming, consultation, and training. The Pepperdine University Department of Athletics is committed to Christian values, to the academic well-being of student athletes, and to competing for championships. The athletics counselor will provide services for general students and student-athletes, including counseling, outreach, and consultation. As a staff member in Student Affairs who works closely with students, this person serves as a Christian role model to students.     • Assistant Director, International Student Advising in Malibu Campus

      This position serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the University and support the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO), interacting with SEVIS and the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to prepare the Form I-20 and report information about international students. Additionally, this position will directly advise international students regarding obtaining and maintaining their visa status by providing guidance and resources during their admission process, enrollment, and employment authorization period upon completion of study. This position is the primary point of contact regarding employment authorization of F-1 visa holders and collaborates with management of the front office and appropriate assignment of cases. Provides advice and support to the Pepperdine community on a broad spectrum of complex and sensitive immigration, visa, and employment issues and regulations, as well as mindful considerations and best practices for the University as hosts of graduate international students.

    • Landscaper in Malibu Campus

      Under general supervision of the Manager, Landscape and Irrigation Services for the Department of Facilities Services (“DFS”), and in collaboration with your colleagues, assist in maintaining University by completing assigned landscape maintenance such as planting shrubs, flowers and trees, mowing, trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs, removing dead or unwanted trees, hand watering gardens and lawns, groundskeeping activities such as litter, trash removal and outdoor furniture cleaning.

    • Administrative Assistant, Business Administration Division in Malibu Campus

      The Administrative Assistant for the business administration division provides general office support to the divisional dean, faculty, staff, and students while supervising and coordinating the duties of student workers. The person in this role also assists with events, social media, student registration and academic advising within the division majors. This is an 11-month position.
