    Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Campus Safety Telecommunications Officer, Part-Time. Hours worked per week and shifts worked will be dependent on coverage needs, including weekends and possibly holidays. The rate of pay is $18.50 per hour between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm, $20.00 between the hours of 3:00pm to 7:00am. Part-Time Campus Safety Telecommunication Officers receive double their hourly pay rate when scheduled to work a shift during recognized college holidays. This is a collectively bargained position and without benefits.

    Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Sociology at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2026. Faculty responsibilities include teaching a 3/2 course load over two semesters and informal advising of students, all in person on our campus in Gambier, Ohio. Courses to be taught include introduction to sociology; mid-level subfield survey courses appropriate for sophomores and juniors, and intermediate or upper-level seminars in the candidate’s area of expertise. We seek a chemist who is committed to the education of undergraduates in a liberal arts environment, particularly at the organic and introductory chemistry level.
