      The Kenyon Review seeks a Director of Youth Programming and Fellowships to lead the design, administration, and strategic development of educational initiatives that advance the mission of The Kenyon Review and reinforce its unique role within Kenyon College’s literary and academic community. The Director will be responsible for overseeing existing signature programs—including the Young Writers Workshops (residential and online), Kenyon Review Fellowships, and the Associates and Internship program for Kenyon undergraduates. The Director is also responsible for developing new programming that enhances The Kenyon Review’s international reputation and supports the College’s commitment to high-impact experiential learning.

    • Painter/Interior Finish Technician in Gambier, OH

      Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Painter/Interior Finish Technician. The qualified candidate will use generally accepted techniques and procedures of the painter trade in the preparation, maintenance, and repair of finishes of equipment, signage, and all exterior surfaces and interior walls, ceilings, and floors of campus structures and facilities, including parking areas and roadways. The hourly rate of pay for this full-time with benefits position is $30.19/hour. This position is on a Progressive Wage Rate with an increase each year until it caps out at the beginning of the third full year of employment at $36.82. Work days are Sunday – Thursday. 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch.

The Special Projects Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the execution of organizational goals and fostering the long-term stability of the organization. Reporting to the Editor of The Kenyon Review, this full-time role is central to ensuring the ongoing excellence, growth, and impact of KR’s adult workshop and programs.

    • Assistant Professor of International Studies in Gambier, OH

      The Department of International Studies at Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning July 1, 2026. We seek a social scientist with a degree in either sociology, political science, or anthropology, whose regional focus is on Sub-Saharan Africa or the Middle East and Northern Africa, with a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching. The successful candidate would be appointed in International Studies, and expected to teach an interdisciplinary course in methods, sophomore and senior-level interdisciplinary seminars, and courses in their disciplinary department. Candidates should also demonstrate their commitment to a career in the liberal arts. We will prioritize candidates with a strong record of teaching excellence; a commitment to student advising and mentorship; and plans to incorporate student researchers into their research programs. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand or be near completion by the beginning of the appointment (July 2026).
