Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADDEI) – who reports directly to the Dean for DEI and Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Division of Student Affairs – is committed to student success in the classroom, residence, and co-curricular experience. The Assistant Director has direct responsibility and administrative oversight as the coordinator of the Kenyon Educational Enrichment Program (KEEP)* and the Recognizing Each Other’s Ability to Conquer the Hill (REACH) Peer Mentoring Program**. The Assistant Director works closely with the Associate Provost for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, College faculty, and staff to support the retention of students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, religious and national backgrounds. The Assistant Director also assists the Dean, Director and the Associate Provost for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in providing campus-wide programming to enrich the campus climate and quality of life for the Kenyon College community. The Assistant Director will partner with the Office of Student Engagement in providing direct support and coordination of multicultural student organizations. Within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI), this position will have a particular focus on supporting students of color by identifying and addressing barriers to their success, and carrying out efforts to support them

Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Religious Studies with a specialization in Judaism as a sabbatical replacement in July 2025. We seek a broadly trained scholar of religion who can teach about Judaism in a range of historical and geographic contexts. The teaching load is five courses over two semesters (2/3 or 3/2). This includes one section of our department’s introduction to religion course (Encountering Religion in a Global Context) and four other introductory survey and advanced seminar courses in Judaism. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, including the use of inclusive pedagogies, along with strong mentoring and academic support of diverse student populations. Postdoctoral Researcher in Physics in Gambier, OH
The Kenyon College Department of Physics is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to participate in the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) research group, with a focus on calibration of the LIGO detectors. This position requires a Ph.D. in physics or astronomy, and the position is ideal for a candidate who has already been involved in research in gravitational-wave physics and astronomy. The selected candidate will also receive a California Institute of Technology visiting research appointment in order to facilitate extended stays at the LIGO detectors as a participant in the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC) Fellows program. While on-site as an LSC Fellow, the selected candidate would be mentored by a LIGO Laboratory Senior Scientist. Part-Time Assistant Track & Field (Pole Vault) Coach in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field (Pole Vault) Coach. This is a part-time, without benefits, position. Under the general direction of the Head Track & Field Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Men's and Women's Track & Field program in accordance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Track & Field Coach will work in conjunction with the head coaches to fulfill the following responsibilities: train student-athletes in pole vault at practices and assist with program operations. It is also expected that the Part-Time Assistant Track and Field Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture.
