About the role 

At Maurice Blackburn we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and experienced Union Relationship Organiser to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in our Melbourne CBD office within our Victorian Injuries Business Development Team.

Your responsibilities will include providing an exceptional service to union members and union clients by connecting them to the best legal staff across Maurice Blackburn’s practice areas, solving issues for union clients and identifying opportunities to promptly assist union members, building strategies to generate new enquiries within Victorian Injuries and to strengthen existing and new relationships. You will be well versed in Maurice Blackburn products and services and will educate Organisers, Delegates and Members on our offering and attend events to support our client unions and their members.

The experience we are looking for:

• Develop and build strong relationships with Union Organisers, Delegates, HSR’s, legal teams training officers and administrative staff
• Deliver growth in referrals and protect existing referral sources as well as generating enquiries leading to open matters
• Facilitate collaboration across internal practice areas to ensure effective service delivery to client unions
• Build brand awareness with client unions and members
• Inform and educate Organisers, Delegates and members about Maurice Blackburn services
• Be a problem solver for Union Organisers, Delegates and Members
• Identify and build campaigns to extend access to justice for union members
