Public Safety Officer in South Orange
The Public Safety officer’s primary purpose is to protect life and property. This is accomplished through a variety of tasks including: preventive patrol, reporting suspicious persons/activities, reporting unsafe conditions, providing transportation to students and the enforcement of University’s rules and regulations. Regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic and provide a security presence for dignitary visits, special events, and sporting events. They complete written reports on all security related matters and provide information and assistance to students, staff and the general public. Finally, they assist South Orange Police, Fire, and Rescue Squad when necessary or as required.

Associate Dean for STEM and Research in South Orange
Reporting directly to the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Associate Dean for STEM and Research will advance grantsmanship across disciplines, student recruitment and retention at the undergraduate and graduate levels, steward academic program development and differentiation, improve and expand experiential learning opportunities, and facilitate student success in the STEM fields of the College of Arts and Sciences. The Associate Dean will also advance faculty research in the College across all fields of inquiry, including the humanities, the social sciences, as well as the STEM fields. The successful candidate will promote competitive external grant funding by aligning faculty with funding opportunities and facilitating proposal submissions. More generally, the Associate Dean will collaborate on strategic initiatives, special projects, faculty recruitment, personnel matters and other endeavors as assigned by the Dean. Adjunct Professor in South Orange
Seton Hall University seeks adjunct instructors to teach sections of our first-year writing classes. These are composition courses with an emphasis on rhetorical analysis. They fall into two categories: English 1201 is a composition course with a rhetorical focus, stressing textual and visual analysis, while English 1202 is an academic writing course focused on literature. Candidates must have experience teaching composition in a college or university setting and, at minimum, an MA in a related field. CV and letter of interest are required to apply; a statement of teaching philosophy, course evaluations from a composition class, and up to three letters of reference are recommended. Assoc Dean UG Prgrms Nursing in Interprofessional Health Sciences
The Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Student Assessment for the College of Nursing is a full time 12-month position that is appointed by the Dean with the approval of the Provost. The position reports directly to the Dean of the College and is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate affairs and the assessment, measurement and reporting of student learning outcomes. The Associate Dean holds academic rank and may teach a maximum of 3 credits per semester with the approval of the Dean. The successful candidate will possess a vision and passion for excellence in all matters of pedagogy, innovative teaching strategies, simulation information technologies, and comprehension of assessment of learning outcomes for undergraduate education. A PhD in Nursing or equivalent with an MSN in Nursing required. The successful candidate will be a team player with extensive experience as a faulty member and administrative experience in a position of Assistant or Associate Dean or similar. Experience with undergraduate curriculum development, outcomes assessment measurement and program evaluation are required. Experience in the development of accreditation reports for CCNE and the State Board of Nursing is essential to the position. Additionally, the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of undergraduate students and university personnel is a requirement for the position.

Responsible for assisting the Assistant Dean of Students with planning, coordinating, and implementing, Law Student Services for a population of 800+ students. Oversee the Student Bar Association, supervise all Student Organizations and related programs, and promote positive and constructive activities to meet the needs of a diverse student body, grow student satisfaction, and increase retention. Plan, orchestrate, and execute all aspects of student-related events. Assist and collaborate with colleagues on additional internal professional events, symposia, Moot Court Competitions and the like, as well as occasional external events for clients looking to rent space in the building. Simulation Operations Coordinator in Interprofessional Health Sciences
Under the supervision of the Director for the Clinical Simulation and Education Center, the Simulation Operations Coordinator will serve an essential role in the simulation education program that supports the educational mission of numerous clinical degree programs in collaboration with several staff members in the School of Health and Medical Sciences and the College of Nursing. This position will provide administrative support to optimize workflow procedures, meet student learning needs, support faculty and programs, and assist in sustaining the Clinical Simulation & Practice Center. The incumbent will participate, alongside other staff, in technological resource management and coordination of annual inspections. This position will also support the administrative activities for research-related simulation programming that are initiated by the academic departments that may include activities that are funded through research grants. The research-related activities may take place in the evenings or on weekends.

The Operations Specialist will prepare, maintain, and facilitate repair of simulator software and hardware, task trainers and related items for enhanced realism. The Operation Specialist works to ensure the smooth operation of every aspect of each SIM experience from start to finish. Customer service skills are essential component of this role since simulation experiences are offered to current and future students, guests and visitors, and alumni of the University.
