Tenure Track Assistant Professor-Chemistry and Biochemistry in South Orange
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time tenure track assistant professor position beginning in Fall 2026. We are seeking an outstanding teacher-scholar with expertise in one or more of the areas of analytical, organic or biochemistry and/or at their interfaces, e.g. bio-analytical, bio-organic. The successful candidate should be prepared to build a highly visible, externally funded research program in the area of interest, mentor graduate and undergraduate research students and teach introductory and advanced undergraduate and graduate courses, be involved in service at the department, college, and university levels. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. It is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States and is home to about 6,300 undergraduate and 3,700 graduate students.
