They fall into two categories: English 1201 is a composition course with a rhetorical focus, stressing textual and visual analysis, while English 1202 is an academic writing course focused on literature. Candidates must have experience teaching composition in a college or university setting and, at minimum, an MA in a related field. Seton Hall University is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Academic and Graduate Affairs, the Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment will be responsible for leading and implementing graduate recruiting and marketing efforts to meet graduate enrollment goals for the University. The Executive Director will manage the day-to-day aspects of the graduate admissions process for the University and will serve as a member of the Office of Graduate Affairs leadership team. The Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment will be expected to maintain collaborative relationships with all Graduate Affairs partners and support the overall strategic enrollment efforts of the University. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and implementing graduate admission strategies that are data-informed and results-oriented, and will be deployed across the spectrum of graduate programs offered by the University. This individual will also mentor, develop, and supervise a team of graduate recruiters while directing daily workflow and recruitment-related processes; and will bring established expertise and experience in graduate admissions, marketing, enrollment systems, and change management in higher education. The Director may be expected to work some evenings and/or weekends, and the position will require occasional local, regional, national, or international travel.
