Lecturer in South Orange
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position beginning in Fall 2026. We are seeking an outstanding teacher with interest and demonstrated ability to teach, organize, manage and develop innovative curriculum in introductory undergraduate teaching labs and lectures, with a particular emphasis on broad general chemistry courses for all science majors, and be involved in service at the department, college, and university levels. Research with undergraduates is encouraged but not required. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City. It is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States and is home to about 6,300 undergraduate and 3,700 graduate students.
