Working in the GPU Datapath team, a unique applied research team with a remit both to research and to deliver high performing hardware, you will be a vital part of the development of innovative mathematical components. You will be able to contribute to the development of our XE series of GPUs and others. No prior knowledge of digital hardware is required. Full training will be provided on both industry tools and cutting-edge techniques developed in-house, and you will be creating your own original ideas to push out the boundary of what can be achieved.

We are building a new “designed for AI” automation system that uses AI, ML and algorithms to relentlessly optimise the workloads we execute across our on-prem and cloud compute resources. This automation systems will enable our teams in research, hardware, and software, to schedule and trigger benchmarks and workloads on versions of our IP, to run on a variety of platforms (compute, emulation, FPGA, and real devices) then view real-time data and insight via a data platform and algorithms.

By analysing applications, HW and SW stacks, we identify Power, Performance and Area (PPA) enhancements to deliver competitive products to our customers. As a Director of Performance Analysis, you’ll be responsible for identification of software and hardware performance enhancements in Data Centre, Automotive and Mobile market segments. You will work closely with Product, Software, Hardware, Validation and Application Engineering teams to ensure the work is delivered on time according to company priorities.
