    KUGS Operations Manager - Project Position in Bellingham, WA

    KUGS Operations Manager - Project Position The KUGS Operations Manager ensures consistent and quality programming at the 89.3 KUGS FM radio station and the Wavelength digital media program. The position reports to the KUGS General Manager and serves as the on-site manager in the absence of the General Manager. The KUGS Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining the daily program logs, including the rotation of all pre-recorded announcements, pre-recorded programs, FCC required announcements, coordination of and utilization of automation software system. The KUGS Operations Manager also coordinates KUGS in-house audio production of promotional spots, public service announcements, news and public affairs programs, and underwriting announcements. This position engages in front-end troubleshooting of technical issues that arise at the station and supervises the KUGS Maintenance/In-Studio Engineer and any third-party contracted repair work that is needed. The Operations Manager also supports volunteer onboarding and training initiatives at both KUGS and Wavelength, especially regarding equipment use and maintenance.
