      The duties of a Graduate Administrative Assistant (GAA) in the Career Technical Education & Professional Studies Department under the supervision of the faculty and/or staff, may include assisting faculty and/or staff with collecting, organizing, and analyzing various types of data or information, assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the unit’s supervisor and/or appropriate faculty and/or staff.       Jacksonville State University’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for a tenure track position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Social Work. The Assistant Professor in the Social Work Program, provides educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening; teaching doctorate, graduate and undergraduate level courses in Social Work along with doctoral level research and advanced data analysis; and may be required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off-campus, online courses and possible videoconferencing depending on need of location.

    • University Student Assistant - Art & Design Lab Monitor (Spring 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)

      The Art and Design Lab Monitor University Student Aid must be able to work nights and weekends to keep the lab opened and machines up and running in the Graphic Design Studios as well as in the Photo Labs. The Lab Monitor will also assist students with changing out printer cartridges and assisting with other duties as assigned by either the Professor or Assistant Professor of the department. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.

    • Graduate Administrative Assistant - Social Work Program (Spring 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)

      A Graduate Administrative Assistant (GAA) assists administrative staff with collecting, organizing, and analyzing various types of data or information, assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the unit’s supervisor and/or appropriate faculty and/or staff. Stipend: $12.00 per hour with a max of 20 hours per week for a total of three semesters. Student compensation is based on the number of hours worked, and students must clock in and clock out for each shift. Biweekly payroll over the course of the term. In addition to a stipend, graduate assistantships carry a scholarship of 9 semester hours of graduate tuition and the general university fee.

    • University Student Assistant - Volleyball (Spring 2026 - Summer 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)

      The duties of the University Student Aid are to obtain work experience on campus in offices, labs, gym, the library, and other areas. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for research, classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, or performing administrative and other support duties as required. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.
