Postdoctoral Research Associate in Additive Manufacturing - Plastics Engineering (multiple positions) in UMass Lowell
The successful applicant will conduct experimental and analytical research in the areas of 4D/3D Printing of Shape Memory Polymers and/or Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites for Biomedical Applications (smart catheters) with an emphasis on design/implementation, experimentation, material selection and formulation, manufacturing, and characterization. Participate in meetings and write reports, scholarly articles, and proposals. This position is contingent upon funding. The mission of the CCPH W.E.B. Du Bois Diversity Fellowship is to continue the multicultural training and clinical experience of the early career clinician who has successfully completed the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. This Fellowship offers continued supervised clinical experience to deepen and broaden the fellow's clinical skills which will allow them to leave the fellowship on route to the independent level of clinical practice and prepared to take on leadership roles. Fellows are expected, in addition to general clinical responsibilities, to provide training and support to underrepresented campus communities.

The Employment Eligibility and I-9 Specialist is responsible for ensuring University compliance with federal I-9 employment eligibility regulations including, but not limited to, timely identification and resolution of employment eligibility issues to ensure compliance and mitigate liability. The Specialist designs and delivers training to HR professionals across the University. They monitor, reconcile, and correct data discrepancies between the University’s I-9 system (Tracker I-9), international tax system (Sprintax), E-verify, and HR Direct (PeopleSoft) systems. The Specialist develops and implements employment eligibility verification and hiring/onboarding processes and actively supports HR professionals in I-9 and e-Verify processes.
