      The Sr. Assistant Director of Admissions Communications leads the strategic development and execution of data-driven, multi-channel communications that support the University’s undergraduate enrollment goals. This managerial position oversees communication planning and implementation within Slate CRM, ensuring a coordinated, results-oriented approach to prospective student engagement. This role also serves as a key advisor and collaborator across Enrollment Management on communication strategy, systems optimization, and user experience improvements. They work collaboratively with the marketing office to support their communications and content delivered in the communications plan. The role is the last line for communication approval and responsible for scheduling and sending communications, forms and portals using a development cycle process.     • Associate Director of Student Affairs - University Crossing, Fox Common and Gaming Operations in UMass Lowell

      The primary responsibilities of the Associate Director pertain to the day-to-day management and oversight of events at Rowdy’s Esports Arena, University Crossing, and Fox Common. The Associate Director is responsible for managing a student staff that supports approximately 8,000 events each year for students, faculty, staff, and guests. Space management includes coordinating facility usage, facilitating various room setups, space approval via campus scheduling software, technology training and implementation, conference and food service support, maintenance, and training staff on emergency procedures. The Associate Director will also have specific oversight of Rowdy’s Esports Arena. Oversight of space will include day-to-day operations of an Esports program that supports on-campus teams competing at various levels of play. The Associate Director will work with the director to manage the budget for staff and day-to-day operations to support team and individual play. The Associate Director will also work with campus partners in IT to maintain and replace hardware and software for stations as needed per university standards.

      The River Hawk Scholars Academy (RHSA) is a student success and retention program at UMass Lowell, supporting first-generation college students as they navigate the transition from high school to college and beyond. The Program Specialist plays a critical role in the delivery and enhancement of programmatic activities aimed at boosting college degree completion and enriching student success. Collaborating closely with academic departments and student services, the specialist helps implement a comprehensive educational program that equips students with a holistic support network, promoting wellbeing and fostering seamless pathways to degree attainment. The Program Specialist provides general program management and assists on the systematic collection, assessment, and reporting of data to gauge program effectiveness and inform strategic improvements. This includes tracking student participation, academic progress, and program outcomes to ensure alignment with the academy’s goals and with the intent to translate that data into actionable outreach. They will coordinate and collaborate with Academic Services, Centers for Learning, Advising, Student Affairs and other partners and may develop training material, conduct workshops, and other duties as assigned. The Program Specialist is a grant funded position (June 2025-May 31, 2026), with potential for continuation contingent on funding.

      The Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at the University of Massachusetts Boston and partners at the Disability Policy Consortium are looking for members of the disability community to work in a paid Training & Technical Assistance (TTA) internship as part of a research team studying employment for people with disabilities. (part-time/up to 400 hours total). TTA Interns on this project will assist with the development of materials for trainings and other deliverables to support the implementation of the Progressive Employment model through this project. This will include helping to develop materials associated with in-person, virtual, and online training and other technical assistance (TA) related work including communities of practice (CoPs), affinity groups, webinars, etc. TTA is focused on employment service delivery personnel in different levels and roles across systems.
