    The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, & Physics at Marist University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry starting Fall 2026. The Department’s academic mission is immeasurably enriched by an inclusive community in which diverse perspectives are respected and valued. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching and the ability to establish an active research program involving undergraduates. Teaching duties will be in the successful candidate’s area of interest as well as foundation chemistry courses as needed. The candidate will also play a key role in helping to maintain the department’s ACS-approved curriculum. Academic advising, committee service, and active contributions to the growth and development of the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, & Physics at Marist University are also expected.

  • Assistant Professor of Operations Management or Professional Lecturer of Operations Management in Poughkeepsie, NY

    Depending on the successful applicant’s background and qualifications, this can be either a tenure-track position or a term (professional lecturer) position in operations management. We are seeking a faculty member able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations, supply chain, analytics and related subjects. Tenure-track faculty are expected to maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Term faculty are not required to conduct research, but are expected to maintain close ties to their profession. All faculty also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant Professor (or Professional Lecturer) for the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate could alternatively opt to start the position in the Fall 2026 semester. We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for our tenure-track faculty is 21 credits, typically distributed as a 3:4 course load. Term faculty teach 24 credits per year (4:4 load).

  • Assistant Coach, Swimming & Diving in Poughkeepsie, NY

    The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position for an Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. This position will support all aspects of the Marist Swimming program including recruiting qualified student-athletes, coaching and instruction of student-athletes, monitoring and supporting academic progress and progression toward a degree, and alumni and donor engagement. This position typically identifies and recruits academically and athletically elite student-athletes, partners with the head coach to build a cohesive team culture, partners in scouting and producing videos to prepare the team for competition and develops and maintains effective relationships and communication with students, colleagues, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, members of the media and the public. This position will also participate in budget management, financial reconciliation, team fundraising, may assist in game day management, and may coordinate summer camps and clinics, including paperwork, customer service, and financial reconciliation.

    The School of Communication and the Arts at Marist University invites applications for the position of Visiting Lecturer of Music/Interim Director of Athletic Bands with a focus on leading the university’s marching and pep bands.
