Executive Assistant to the Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs in San Luis Obispo
The provost and executive vice president (provost/EVP) for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the university, is the most senior among the vice presidents, and reports directly to the president. The EA will collaborate closely in managing the Provost’s professional calendar, coordinating time management priorities, and supporting the execution of key projects, including event planning. The executive assistant is a strategic team member who manages the administrative functions and provides specialized technical, analytical, and administrative duties for the provost/EVP. In conjunction with the Office of the Provost’s staff, the executive assistant supports the administrative duties of the office and works closely with staff to coordinate activities that involve the provost/EVP, university constituents, community leaders, as well as university supporters.

The Architectural Engineering Department is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 17, 2026. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring mentor and educator who champions inclusive excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship, professional engagement, and service.
