Residency Coordinator - (Student Services Professional III) - Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment in San Francisco
Under the general direction of the Associate Director for Admissions, the Residency Coordinator independently leads the University’s residency determination process and oversees the administration of tuition exemption programs, including AB 540, military exemptions, and the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition discount. The incumbent provides in depth guidance to applicants to assist them with residency determinations, student-focused customer service and staff leadership by demonstrating effective listening, availability and timely responses to all inquiries. The Residency Coordinator serves as the campus authority on complex residency and exemption cases, ensures compliance with CSU policy and state law, interprets evolving regulations, and recommends program enhancements. The role includes expert-level advisement to applicants and continuing students, training staff and student assistants, and coordinating with systemwide offices such as the CSU Chancellor’s Office and Office of General Counsel. In collaboration with the leadership team of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment, the incumbent consults on optimizing existing procedures to ensure a smooth experience for incoming students.

Cal Poly Humboldt and the Department of Art + Film invites applicants for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis in Media Arts, with a primary focus on teaching film production from an interdisciplinary perspective. We seek an artist-scholar who integrates creative and ethical storytelling in their work and engages with interdisciplinary practices. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the new BFA in Media Arts and help shape its future direction.
