The Department of Counseling is a CACREP-accredited program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling that prepares graduate students to seek the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials in California. The Department also offers an Ánimo concentration which prepares counselors to provide bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) counseling to Latinx communities.
