Part-time lecturer positions teaching major and non-major courses in Biology including Introductory Biology, Genetics, Developmental Genetics, Hematology, General Microbiology, Medical Microbiology and Human Physiology and Anatomy. A Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences or related field is required for these positions. However, for certain non-major courses only, the Ph.D. requirement may be waived, but M.S. is required. The policy and expectation is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California.

Opportunities may occasionally arise for teaching evening graduate classes in applied fields such as Engineering Geology. Minimum requirement of M.S. in Geology, Environmental Science or its equivalent, or enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Geology, Environmental Science or its equivalent with sufficient progress towards the degree.
