The Sociology Department may need lecturers for one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Sociology, Social Theory, Research Methods Social Psychology, Social Policy, Work and Professions, Sociology of Education, Social Inequality, Environmental Sociology, Sociology of Sport, Medical Sociology, Sociology of Organizations, and Sociology of Emotions. Other courses may also be offered. Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay may include courses at Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.

Part-Time Lecturer Pool for Department of History and Global Cultures AY 25-26 in East Bay
The Department of History seeks one or more part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for teaching appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2025, and Spring Semester, 2026. The department offers a range of lower- and upper-division courses to majors pursuing the BA in History, General Education students, prospective middle and high school teachers in the Single Subject Matter Preparation Program in Social Science, and Public History Certificate students. The department also offers an MA degree program, in which lecturers holding the Ph.D. occasionally teach reading seminars in their specialties.
