    Administrative & Fiscal Operations Coordinator (Administrative Analyst/Specialist EI) 11/12 in Chico

    Working independently under minimal direction of the Senior Director of Early Outreach and Support Programs (EOSP), the incumbent serves as the primary administrative and fiscal analyst for multiple EOSP departments and programs. The position performs complex fiscal, administrative, and operational analysis in support of a diverse portfolio of state, foundation, grant, categorical, and auxiliary funding sources. Responsibilities include budget administration, financial analysis, expenditure forecasting, variance analysis, fiscal monitoring, payroll administration, procurement support, and compliance oversight. The incumbent serves as the primary resource and liaison for budget, fiscal, and administrative matters and is responsible for the analysis, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of multiple department budgets and accounts. The position analyzes financial activity, expenditure trends, funding utilization, and operational impacts; develops budget projections and recommendations; supports resource planning and decision-making; and ensures compliance with university, foundation, grant, and regulatory requirements. The incumbent exercises a high degree of independent judgment in evaluating fiscal and operational issues, interpreting policies and procedures, identifying risks, and recommending solutions that support departmental effectiveness and fiscal integrity. In addition, the position provides operational oversight for payroll administration, procurement activities, personnel transactions, office operations, and special projects supporting multiple EOSP programs.

  • Senior Director of Development, College of Agriculture in Pomona

    The Senior Director of Development (SDOD) will report to the Executive Director of Development and will manage a fundraising and donor stewardship portfolio of institutional philanthropic priorities. The primary assignment for this role will be within the College of Agriculture; however, based on donor interest, the individual will also support fundraising efforts across other areas of campus. This position is integral to advancing the strategic institutional fundraising priorities of Cal Poly Pomona. The assignment includes working with the Deans, the Executive Director of Development, the Chief Development Officer, and the Vice President of University Advancement to identify and operationalize the development objectives and goals of the assigned portfolio. The SDOD will serve as a development officer engaged in donor identification, prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and communication for gifts of $100,000 greater. As an integral part of the University Advancement program, the SDOD will work to foster lasting relationships between the university and its benefactors, promoting positive attitudes toward private support among current and prospective major and planned gift donors.
