The Director of Housing Facilities provides strategic leadership and full operational oversight for all University Housing Services (UHS) facilities operations, including maintenance, custodial services, infrastructure management, and capital improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for planning, staffing, directing, controlling, and evaluating all aspects of facilities operations across residential communities totaling over 2,800 beds. Reporting to the Executive Director, University Housing Services, the Director oversees construction and renovation projects; routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance; infrastructure stewardship; and building refurbishment efforts. Because residential communities operate on a 24-hour basis, the Director ensures appropriate after-hours facilities response and operational continuity for urgent maintenance, infrastructure failures, and life-safety incidents affecting residents and housing facilities.
