Additionally, this role involves active participation in the development and execution of policies and strategic planning in the advising space, all aimed at promoting the success, persistence, and timely graduation of students within their college or department. This position supports the whole student by providing information and guidance with clarity and kindness. This position is a team member of the College of Science’s (CSCI) Student Service Center and will work closely with the leadership of the CSCI student service center in training new colleagues, facilitating orientation, facilitating group advising/workshops, and supporting new freshman and/or transfer students. Advising at the Concord campus or representation at events held at other institutions may at times be required.
