2026-27 Lecturer Pool Department of Marketing in Chico
The Marketing Department in the College of Business is collecting application materials for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. Specific course/discipline needs are primarily in the areas of Survey of Marketing (Intro to Marketing) and Business Communications. Applicants with an ability to also teach sales, marketing strategy and retailing are preferred. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Student Leadership & Involvement Center (SLIC) Programs Assistant -SSP IB (Temporary) in East Bay
Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Leadership and Involvement Center and the close work lead direction of the Orientation Coordinator (SSP III), the New Student Orientation Program Assistant is responsible for assisting with the University’s year-long onboarding program for incoming students including in-person and virtual components. Duties include assisting with the day-to-day functions connected to New Student Orientation functions; assisting with updating publications and marketing materials (web/hard-copy); assisting with the scheduling of orientation facilities and logistics; and providing added support to the Orientation Team leaders. In addition, as a member of the department, the Orientation Program Assistant will provide administrative support to department programs and initiatives as needed including the First Year Experience planning group.

Campus Fire Marshal in Chancellor's Office - Sacramento
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Campus Fire Marshal to conduct plan review and inspections to ensure compliance with fire and panic safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the OSFM. This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campuses in interacting with municipal fire departments. This position will report to a Deputy Director of Fire Safety and serve as a Chancellor’s Office Capital Planning, Design and Construction representative for the CSU Fire Safety program at each CSU campus. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM).
