      Under general supervision, the Carpenter performs the full range of skilled journey-level carpentry and related work. Incumbents build, remodel, maintain, and repair a variety of structures and facilities, working from blueprints, specifications, drawings, and instructions. Work includes constructing, installing, and repairing woodwork, drywall, ceiling and floor tiles, roofing, cabinets, counters, shelves, partitions, doors, windows, and modular furniture.
