Associate Director (Administrator I), International Student and Scholar Services in San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Oversees with minimal direction the Front Desk and Compliance units, ensuring efficient and exceptional service and advising to students, faculty, and staff. Provides comprehensive immigration services to international students, including immigration document processing, compliance guidance, and ongoing support. Supports CSUSB’s non-resident faculty with employment visa processes and ensures compliance with immigration regulations. Ensures that both students and faculty have the resources and support necessary for successful integration into the campus community, while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, California State University, and CSUSB requirements. Serves as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Responsible Officer (RO) for the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program administered through the Department of State (DOS), liaises with federal officials, prepares reports in accordance with federal guidelines, and briefs management on issues and concerns.
