The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sustainment Technician to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. As a Senior Sustainment Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sustainment and modernization efforts of critical defense systems. Apply today! This position is located at Warner Robins, Georgia and will support sustainment activities including advanced manufacturing/repair and corrosion technologies. The position will serve as a senior lab technician, responsible for machining of printed and traditionally manufactured components. This includes setting up, operating and maintaining equipment; consumable and spare parts inventory and procurement; preparing and tracking material samples; adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The successful candidate will understand machining processes, additive manufacturing, and be able to provide guidance on design for manufacturability. A senior technician will also act as a mentor for junior technicians and engineers. The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners will be supported as well. |
