The Administrative Assistant to the Dean provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Dean's Office in the dental school. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate daily administrative activities, manage schedules, and support the Dean’s interactions with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism, ensuring that the Dean’s Office operates effectively and in alignment with the school’s mission and goals. The school plans to provide a unique 36-month dental education program through an innovative “Block” style curriculum which will ensures in-depth learning and understanding. The Clinical & Preclinical Instructor(s) will provide hands-on instruction to pre-clinical and clinical dental students, ensuring they develop foundational clinical skills in a simulated environment. This role focuses on guiding students in techniques, procedures, and protocols essential for clinical practice. The Instructors will collaborate with other faculty and staff to maintain a supportive and innovative learning environment that reflects the dental school’s commitment to excellence. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Dental Education. The Clinical & Preclinical Instructor(s) are responsible for delivering integrated instruction across both the preclinical simulation laboratory and the clinical patient care environment. This role is designed to ensure continuity between foundational skill development and real-world clinical application, supporting the YUCDM model of early clinical exposure and competency-based progression. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, plus Friday mornings. Rotational assignment between the simulation lab and the clinic based on curricular needs.
