Summary of Job Responsibilities
Plan and lead procurement activities for all FF&E related products and services in accordance to company vision, mission and values. Lead the team to carry out duties in a professional and ethical manner. Build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders as well as collaborate with the Macau team to foster synergies. Maintain a high level of ethics and drive efficiencies in supplier management and cost saving.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent department to support internal stakeholders on FF&E procurement activities in a timely and effective manner, understand their needs and expectations and find the best solution balancing cost and quality within the required timeline
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure requirements are met with the best supplier for the given sourcing application – complying with company policy and quality standards
- Establish bid lists and ensure team executes a fair and equitable bid process
- Lead team through communication with supply chain that professionally and accurately clarifies any errors and omissions in supply chain quotations
- Negotiate and finalize pricing and terms with selected manufacturers
- Oversee operation FF&E spend, cost and saving
- Ensure daily procurement activities (including vendor registration and compliance, bidding, vendor selection, contracting, receiving and payment) meet all compliance requirements at all times for all transactions
- Guide the team to ensure effective operation and maintain close communication to work seamlessly with the procurement team in Macau and Las Vegas
- Establish local supplier base by conducting market research, sourcing and analysis, and identify market opportunities and risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; minimum 5 years of managerial experience in related area
- Sound understanding of procurement process and experience in handling tendering process & queries/ request for quotation (RFQ) tenders is a must
- Strong FF&E acumen and supply base understanding
- Have a high sense of urgency and adapt to change quickly in a fast pace and changing environment
- Proactive, high level of integrity, good team spirit and able to work under pressure
- A solution-oriented attitude that focuses on delivering for the business
- Proficient in MS Office, experience in Ariba would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- Strong analytical and influencing skills
